Student Services- Mrs. McEntee

Welcome back to our 2017/2018 school year here at Taft!  I am very excited and very much looking forward to seeing all of our students back for a fun, exciting, and  successful school year. This is my 2nd year at Taft and this  year I am fortunate to have the opportunity to co-teach 7th grade Language Arts with Mrs. Cronholm. For the remainder of my day I am the junior high Student Services teacher.

I live in Lockport, Illinois with my husband and three children.  My husband is a teacher at Argo High School in Summit, Illinois.  My daughter is a senior at Lockport High School, and both of my sons attend Oak Prairie junior high, one in 8th grade and one in 7th grade.  I received my undergraduate from Governor’s State University in English Language Arts and I am certified to teach grades 6th through 12th.  I received my LBS1 endorsement (Special Education) from Lewis University.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Taft community.

My goal is for all of my students to learn and grow in a safe and welcoming environment.  I look forward to a great year.
