VIKING’S PHYSICAL EDUCATION NEWS

Our physical education classes are currently in the middle of our volleyball unit.  We have about two more weeks of volleyball, and then we will move on to badminton.  To emphasize writing across the curriculum, the junior high classes will be having a question of the week that will be due on every Friday starting in the fourth quarter.   The question last week was, “what was your favorite winter Olympic sport and why?”  The 8^th graders were the first to have this assignment and did very well.  

VIKING’S ATHLETICS NEWS

Our girl’s volleyball season just finished up.  Congratulations to both teams for having a great season.  Both teams made it to the regional semi-final game before being eliminated.  Good job girls.  The boy’s volleyball season is under way.  The 7^th grade team is currently 5-2, and the 8^th grade team is 4-3.  Check the school calendar to see when the next games are.  The track and field season will begin at the end of March.
